On June 10, 2001, in a little Virginia town called Arlington, on a warm Sunday afternoon at 1:45 pm, to be exact, a beautiful ray of sunshine illuminated upon this earth. From that day forward, that ray of sunshine would be called Katherine Aileen Reyes. Katherine was born to Esmeralda Reyes. The second of four children. She would spend her childhood between Virginia and Alabama, graduating from Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Alabama in 2019 Katherine had a smile that would make the sun melt, touching so many with her purity and innocence , pure love. She was kind, and a free spirit. No one was a stranger to her. She loved her dog Brownie and her cat Tabby. She enjoyed family, friends, make up, music, and astrology. Her biggest love was her family and siblings. In her 20 years on this earth. She touched so many lives. To know her was to love her. Truly, a beautiful soul.
Kindness
The love that Katherine dearly spread to the people she was close to, even strangers. Katherine never was the one just to be mean. She wanted to spread light and influence, which she was as a person of heart and sweetness. Kindness was her purpose, to apply and complete.

Story About Katherine's Death
Katherine Aileen Reyes was a young woman of only 20 years old who tragically lost her life in a car accident. She was driving down Eisenhower Avenue when her car suffered a flat tire. An officer arrived and shot a flare gun in the air before leaving. Without any help, Katherine was to wait for her folks to bring a spare tire, and suddenly, a black Buick with Devon Lesoine, who only received three years of imprisonment for committing vehicular manslaughter, came at an uncertain speed and crashed into Katherine's car, causing it to burst into flames and trapping her inside. Katherine died in the accident, and her family and friends were left to mourn her loss.
Katherine's death serves as a reminder of how important it is to be kind to those in need. Her story is a reminder that small acts of kindness can have a great impact, and that we need to be mindful of those around us. We can honor her memory by providing kindness and support to those in need.
